The harpy eagle eats small to medium size game like most eagles/hawks. But unlike them, the harpy is adapted to hunt in the jungle brush in the thick vegitation. It can fly in and out of the trees and such so it can get the animals inside the jungle and not just the top of jungles and plains like other eagles. It s just its way of finding food in its habitat where other birds are not capable.
